Wow how time flies. The summer is creeping up fast, and SOUL is in the making. As we nail down the final details, I can feel God watching over us. The staff have been working hard for some time now, in order to make this a memorable summer, leaving the groups with a mind set to always put God first. Our theme for the year comes from Mathew 19:30 "But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first" AMP. As the Bama Staff prepares for their first camp, and NC Staff finish with final details, I ask for your prayers for a great summer and a spiritual uproar.

Hey everyone, I'm new to blogging so bear with me. My name is Zachary Kincaid, and this is My SOUL Journal. I'm from good ol' Randolph County, where I was born and raised. As a graduate from Southwestern Randolph, I decided to pursue a dream in the field of Culinary Arts. In 2012, I became an Eagle, working toward a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts at Wake Tech. Through my experiences with Soul, I'm now looking into the of youth ministries. Now to the past- In 2009 I found my way to my first experience with Soul. As a participant, I was motivated, and prayed for by the Soul staff, it was because of them that I write this today. Now going into my fifth year working with Soul, third as staff, I am given the opportunity to help others change their lives, finding a path that  leads to God's calling in their lives. Soul has been an amazing experience in my personal and spiritual life, and am excited to see how God will use the program to continue to change me through this summer.
